Spanish hotels often have water parks at hotels, making it one of the best countries to visit in Southern Europe with the kids. In addition, the country has several huge water parks known throughout Europe. It will be interesting not only for families with little children and teenagers but also for adult travellers.

1. Caribe Aquatic Park, Villa-seca, Tarragona
Caribe Aquatic Park is in the world-famous Port Aventura amusement park. It is huge and full of attractions of all stripes and is the best water park in Spain which attracts the attention of holidaymakers from all over the Mediterranean coast of Spain. But it will be especially convenient for those who are based in Tarragona and nearby.
More like a lush tropical island than a park, Caribe Aquatic Park is truly one of the best family attractions, with so many water attractions that are safe and fun for all ages. However, if you want to conquer the King Khajuna slide, which has the largest free-fall area of its kind in Europe, you need to be an adult with a specific height.
The number of water attractions on the territory of this water park is so great that you need to dedicate the whole day to it.
2. Siam Park, Santa Cruz de Tenerife
Siam Park is one of the most famous and popular Spanish water parks, located on the delightful island of Tenerife in the Canary Islands. Siam Park is considered the biggest water park in Spain.
This Tenerife water park has almost 30 different slides. It is open all year round. And to make swimming in the pools comfortable, the water in them is desalinated and heated to +25°С. Moreover, the Sawasdee playground has smaller copies of adult water attractions, including the Dragon slide. And in the vast gaming area of The Lost City, the slides are completely small, but there is a lot of other entertainment there. The beautiful aquarium with sharks, exotic fish, pools with sea lions, and black swans are a special attraction.
Families can also relax on Siam Beach next to a large but shallow pool. And if you get comfortable on the toboggan and trust the flow of the Lazy River, it will carry you past all the water park attractions. In one place, your inflatable raft will turn into a submarine – you will fall into a tunnel and see fish that do not notice the joyful fuss that reigns around.
3. Aqualandia, Benidorm, Costa Blanca, Spain
Aqualandia is one of the best northern Spain water parks, the pools filled with only seawater. Visitors are offered a choice of one of three routes: families with children, groups of friends, and extreme sports enthusiasts.
A visit to the water park can be combined with a trip to the Mundomar park next door. Europe’s highest standing slide and highest capsule slide are both at Aqualandia! It’s one of the best theme parks not only in Spain but also in Europe.
4. Aqua Natura, Benidorm, Alicante
Aqua Natura is a small water park which is the right choice for relaxing for the whole day. For adults, there are only 4 water slides in this water park. But here is an excellent warm pool with artificial waves, a small artificial beach and gorgeous views of the mountains.
Parents who wish not to lose sight of children having fun on the slides and in the pools will appreciate the large open children’s area of the water park.
Recently, the water park acquired sea lions, which give performances in which vacationers in the water park can become full participants. In the park, you’ll also find several cafes to eat and areas for relaxation.
5. Aqualand Torremolinos, Malaga
Aqualand Torremolinos is the largest and most famous water park on the Costa del Sol and one of the best water parks in Spain. There are various slides and attractions, such as the dizzying 22-meter Kamikaze, tightly twisted Anaconda, and many more. Undoubtedly, the aquatic Theme park in Malaga owes its popularity primarily to a large pool with waves almost 1 m high, which attracts many people. Not the last role in the popularity is also played by the proximity of Aqualand and the Crocodile Park, which are popular with tourists all year round. 6. Parc Aquatic Aquabrava
Parc Aquatic Aquabrava contains a considerable set of slides and attractions. There are two large play areas for kids, separate hot water pools, thematic Amazon, Danube, and Colorado, and twisting slides-snakes and slide-tunnels. But most of the visitors come to Aqua Brava for one of Europe’s largest Wave Pool, 600 square meters.
In Aqua Brava, you can get lost in a huge labyrinth with an area of 2500 square meters, climb a sheer 5-meter cliff, and then jump into a deep pool under it. Additionally, next to the park, just a few km away, there is an amazing Butterfly Park, where you can buy entrance tickets and continue your perfect leisure day.
7. Parc Aquatic Aquadiver
Parc Aquatic Aquadiver is located in one of the quietest resorts on the Costa Brava. In its assortment: fun, pranks, extreme sports, and, to top it off, a picnic in the lacy shade of Spanish pines.
The little kids who have will get their positive impressions in the children’s pool with three soft slopes and two bright and smooth zigzag slides. If the kid is ready to discover something new, offer him slides among the artificial rocks of Rock House.
Nearby is Adventure Lake, where anyone can try to walk on water like dry land or swing in a water hammock. Older children will be interested in the Fun Temple water playground, where they can shoot each other with water pistols, slide down spiral pipes and wait for a huge bucket to bring down a whole waterfall on their heads.
A special green area is equipped for a picnic in nature. In the shade of pine trees, there is a Pineda Park children’s playground.
8. Marineland Catalanya, Barcelona
Marineland Catalanya Aquapark is the largest water complex on the Costa Brava. It can be reached from Barcelona by public transport; however, it is easier to come by car. In addition to the usual attractions – slides and pools – there is also a dolphinarium and a zoo where you can watch graceful flamingos and storks, penguins, and funny pelicans.
For young visitors, the Marineland water park also has many slides, pools and fun rides. In addition to extreme slides, there are rides with a smooth and leisurely descent and a large children’s playground with safe slides and shallow pools.
You can compete on the Crazy Race and Superslalom family slides to see who can land in the pool first. In the children’s town, there are lots of lifeguards who monitor the safety of little vacationers.
9. Aquarama, Castellon, Valencia
Aquarama has entertainment for visitors of all ages. There are a lot of water attractions, but also other attractions such as the Devil’s Jumps tower with a height of 30 m. You can safely swim among the picturesque islets in the Lakes area and see the crocodile statue. Aquarama is one of the best things to do in Valencia with children.
The “Pirate Cave” is especially appreciated by the kids due to its spectacular decoration. Mini Dunes hills are great for competitions in downhill skiing. There is also an adult version of these slides called Surf Dunes.

10. Western Water Park, Mallorca

This water Majorca theme park has many interesting entertainments: the highest water slide in Mallorca (The Beast) with a 30-meter exit; tar-black Tornado waterslides; a huge 15-meter Boomerang pipe, in which they descend on special pontoons, and many more.
Western Water Park in Mallorca is the perfect destination for families with intrepid teenagers and will provide lots of fun for the whole family in a far west style.
