The most convenient ways to travel with children from Prague airport to the city centre are by taxi, Airport Express and Airport Transfer:

Airport Express: You will be taken directly to Prague city centre, the Central Railway Station stop. The ticket can be bought from the shuttle driver; there is a 50% discount for children. Trains run every 30 minutes.

 Taxi: The reputable FIX Taxi and Taxi Praha stands at Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 arrival halls. 

Prague airport transfer: The service must be booked in advance or called upon arrival. You will be met by the driver holding a card with your name in his hands. The price is fixed. Also, many hotels offer their own transfer; if your hotel offers one, you can consider it as an option.


Where to Stay in Prague with Kids

Day 1: Old Town Square, Charles Bridge, Prague Rail Museum, Wenceslas Square

 Morning: Start your day with a walk through the Old Town Square. Admire the magic clock and buy a chimney cake for the kid’s snack. Then, walk up to Charles Bridge and dine at one of the many restaurants. Tkalcovsky Dvur is a value-for-money restaurant with delicious goulash. After lunch, feed the swans below the Charles Bridge.  

Afternoon: Visit the Prague Rail Museum Kralovsti Zeleznik, then take tram #9 till Vaclavske Namesti, stroll around Wenceslas Square and eat at the Vytopna Railway restaurant.


Day 2: Prague Zoo, Prague Castle, Petrin Observation Tower

 Morning: After breakfast, head to the zoo, spend time surrounded by animals, recharge with the energy of nature and dine at one of the themed restaurants on the territory of the zoo.
